JANUARY – MARCH ACADEMIC ACTIVITY

FOR CLASSES APPEARING FOR EXTERNAL EXAMS (BOARD/CAMBRIDGE)

Dear Parents

I have observed with concern that students of S2,S3,I1,I2,C3,H1& H2 applied for long medical leave on flimsy grounds and /or were absent for long periods (consecutive 9 days absence)

This is highly objectionable and not in the interest of the students because the:

  1. Period January to mid-February is meant for completion of the prescribed syllabus

  1. Period mid –February to mid-March is meant for revision & discussion of
  •  Past papers according to the marking scheme & examiners report for O & A level

  •  ATP for O level and practicals for A level & FA / FSc

  1. Period mid-March to end –March for final mock examinations

To promote full benefit of the program to students it has been decided that:

I.              Regular admission to Cambridge & Board exams may be withdrawn if the student has less than 85% attendance, and /or dose not qualify the mock exams

II.           Leave without prior approval will be treated as absence and fined accordingly @ Rs200/day

III.         Medical leave / supporting medical certificate will have to be authenticated by the Sr. Medical Officer failing which it will be treated as an absence attracting application of I. & II. Above

Thanking you for your co-operation

Yours faithfully
